Soy-Based Plastics in Combines

The July issue of Biobased Solutions from the United Soybean Board has an article on the use of soy-based plastics in a CASE IH farm combine. Exterior trim panels are made from a reaction injection molded (RIM) polyurethane plastic based on SoyOyl polyol. The soy-based panels cut the weight of each combine by more than 400 pounds.
