Mercedes SLR McLaren Supercar

The new Mercedes SLR McLaren supercar features a bodyshell and chassis made entirely from carbon composites. The vehicle structure is designed to achieve a high level of torsional rigidity, not just low weight. Technology developed for the supercar may be used on more mainstream models in the future.
