Boeing Considers Spain for 7E7 Composites Structures

Boeing is considering forming an alliance in Spain to make carbon fiber composites for its proposed 7E7 Dreamliner plane. Spain has "significant technological manufacturing ability for composite materials," Boeing's Chief Executive Phil Condit told reporters yesterday at a briefing in Madrid.
