Forum: Three Questions and an Answer

Thursday November 20, 2003
The Forum this week features some short questions asking about test methods for polymer characterization, boron fibers for sporting goods, and a new adhesive. In response to an older question, one reader provides some suggestions for medical plastics. polymerizer is looking for a test method to determine the length of a paraformaldehyde polymer chain.

ratboy1 is looking for information about the availability and the use of boron and boron/carbon for use in sports equipment.

EMIRATES has heard about a new product similar to Plexus, that may be called "Weld" or something similar. Does anyone know what the product may be, and who manufactures it?

PETEREMRICH has some suggestions for clear plastics that can withstand cycling through a medical autoclave.
