Competition Closes for Center of Excellence
Friday November 21, 2003
The competition for the U.S. FAA's newest Center of Excellence for Advanced Materials closed this Monday. A decision on the location is due no later than December 1. Wichita State University already does 70 percent of the FAA's composite research, and is one of the candidate locations. Washington State Senator Maria Cantwell introduced the original bill to create the Center, and she is still hopeful Seattle will be picked.
