Traveling Exhibit Highlights Cool Materials

Strange Matter, a new traveling science museum and exhibition and Web site, was developed to generate interest in the field of materials science. The hands-on exhibit targets 5th to 8th graders. The theme for the exhibit is that material properties range from mundane to mysterious. Activities show visitors different types of materials and how they are useful in everyday items.
