Vought Adds 3,000 Jobs in Texas

Vought Aircraft will add 3,000 jobs in the Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. area after being named a major supplier for the 7E7 by Boeing. Vought, along with its partner Alenia, were selected by Boeing to produce the composite center, aft fuselage and horizontal tail for the 7E7. In addition to the new work, Vought plans to close two Florida plants and move the work to Dallas. Employees of those plants will be offered positions in Dallas.
