Boeing Optimistic on First 7E7 Order

Boeing may soon get its first order for a 7E7 aircraft - a necessary step before the board will approve development. A Japanese airline is considered one of the top candidates, though China is also a possibility. Airline executives in Hong Kong have been concerned about the extensive use of composites in the new airplane, but Boeing thinks they have allayed those concerns.
