Sotira Licenses Preform Process from Ford

French company Sotira has licensed Ford's Programmable Preform Process (F3P). F3P automates the production of large composite preforms for automotive body panels. The process is based on the Programmable Powdered Preforming Process (P4), developed by the Automotive Composites Consortium (ACC) and the National Composites Center (NCC).
