If you bond two FRP lamantes together with a structural adhesive, such as an MMA from ITW Plexus or a urethane from Ashland, an extremely strong bond is created. So strong in fact, that in many peal tests, the laminate would fail prior to the bond. For any permanent fastening, structural adhesives should be looked at seriously.
