11/24/99 Carbon fiber manufacturer Zoltek has recenlty acquired Structural Polymer Systems (SP Systems), Cape Composites, Engineering Technology (EnTech), and Composite Machines (CMC). The former two are prepreggers; the latter two are competing manufacturers of filament winding equipment.

New Aldila CEO
11/19/99 Aldila CEO Gary Barbera is retiring; he will be replaced by Peter Mathewson, currently President and COO.

ATP Earnings Decline

Cytec Clarifies Lead Paint Facts
10/13/99 In response to Rhode Island's lead paint suit, Cytec issued a press release stating that its link to the issue is as a successor to MacGregor Lead Company, but that Cytec is not liable as a successor.

Lead Paint Suit
10/13/99 Rhode Island is suing former lead paint manufacturers to recover health care and removal costs. Cytec is named as a defendant because of its acquisition of American Cyanamid.
