Formerly the carbon fiber business of BP Amoco, Cytec now manufactures the Thornel line of fibers. There is no information about the fibers online; try contacting the main Cytec offices.

Conneaut Industries
Distributor of a variety of fibers, including glass, graphite, and Kevlar. No details about specific fiber types.

Daniels Fibers
Buys and sells carbon, Kevlar, Twaron and glass fibers, and milled and chopped carbon. Site lists material types and quantities available.

Engineered Yarns

Converts graphite to carbides and mixed carbides using Chemical Vapor Reaction (CVR). Can produce SiC weaves or preforms from graphite.
