National Nonwovens Introduces Four New Engineering Materials

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. - National Nonwovens introduced four new high performance engineered nonwoven product lines at SAMPE 2000, including ProTechtor(TM), Atvantage(TM), AeroSorb, and SafeSorb.

ProTechtor(TM) - engineered for maximum ballistic, stab, and puncture protection with superior blast containment properties, made from 100% para-aramid fibers. Available in density ranges from 3.5 oz/yd2 at 0.065" thick to 128.0 oz/yd2 at 0.750" thick. Atvantage(TM) - composite structural core and insulating core engineered for maximum acoustic, vibration, and thermal attenuation while maintaining structural properties. SafeSorb - a revolutionary new nonwoven composite with extraordinary absorbent properties. Capable of neutralizing deadly forces, including fire and tear gas. AeroSorb - an ideal super-absorbent and anti-microbial composite for controlling residual moisture and water vapor in confined spaces.
