During his post as Business Development Manager at Enbridge Services, he was responsible for developing the strategy for the launch of Enbridge, a retail energy solutions business.

Petter Skarberg brings a wealth of business development and operations management experience to his new role at Cymat, where he will be drawing on his extensive network of industry contacts in Europe to form joint ventures and co-development programs in a number of industries. He also has an in-depth knowledge of aluminum foam and its potential users developed in his time as the President of Norsk Hydro’s joint venture with a Norwegian-based aluminum casting company. Mr. Skarberg holds a M.Sc. in Engineering from The Norwegian Institute of Technology and a B.Sc. in Economics from The Norwegian School of Management. As CEO of an international consumer products company, he successfully grew sales through his substantial business development efforts. About Cymat

Cymat is a materials technology company that has exclusive worldwide rights, through patents and licenses, for producing Stabilized Aluminum Foam (SAF). SAF is a revolutionary material with a wide array of benefits, including a high strength-to-weight ratio, mechanical energy absorption, thermal and acoustic insulation, recyclability and relative low cost of production. Cymat’s research and development group is collaborating with a number of partners spanning the automotive, rail, oil and gas, marine and defense industries to develop applications for SAF. The company’s principal focus is on automotive, where SAF is ideally suited to the industry’s objectives to make vehicles lighter, safer and better for the environment.
