Dynetek Supplies Fuel Storage Systems for Peterbilt Trucks

CALGARY, Oct. 1 - Dynetek Industries Ltd. (TSE:DNK) announced today it has supplied the fuel storage systems for fourteen of the Peterbilt 378 trucks scheduled for delivery to Norcal Waste Systems Inc. by Cummins Westport Inc. Norcal operates a fleet of approximately 1,100 refuse haulers in the California area. Dynetek delivered the final systems for this order to Cummins Westport end of September.

These liquefied natural gas (LNG) trucks require low pressure LNG to be converted by a fuel pump and a heat exchange to high-pressure gas stored at 200 - 300 bar (3000 - 4000 psi) in the DyneCell(R) fuel storage systems. The Westport technology uses clean burning natural gas to primarily power the engine, using a small amount of oil-based diesel fuel to initiate combustion.
