Hexcel Raising Prices on Honeycomb Cores
Dublin, CA, July 3, 2001 Hexcel Composites today announced that prices for its Nomex® based HexWeb HRH®-10 honeycomb cores will be increased an average of 6%. These price rises are necessary as Hexcel's cost reduction efforts are no longer able to keep pace with the increasing raw material and energy costs associated with the manufacture of HexWeb HRH-10 products. These price changes will be reflected in all quotes effective immediately.
Hexcel Composites manufactures HexWeb HRH-10 in the USA and in Europe. Hexcel was the first company to manufacture structural honeycomb core materials on a commercial scale in 1948.
