Database Submission Page
Instructions
Fill out as many fields as you can. Enter properties in both SI and English units if you can. Incomplete data sets will be entered into the database depending on the amount of data for a given material, the quality of the data, and the number of other entries for the same material.
A complete set of stiffness properties is useful even without strength properties. A single property is useful if it is backed up with a lot of data (e.g. an A-basis tensile modulus). Typical-basis, incomplete data sets from the literature or from vendors probably won't be accepted unless there are no other entries for the same material.
You must include your name and contact information, plus a reference to the source of the data. Personal information won't be included in the database unless you give explicit permission, but I need to be able to contact you if necessary. One of the major goals of this project is to create a traceable set of material properties.
No proprietary data can be accepted--if it can't be posted for everyone to see, then don't submit it.
If you want to include a clickable logo in the database (instead of a plain text link to your Web site), please contact me directly at composite.guide@about.com.
