Definition:
Trade association formed to cover issues of importance to the carbon fiber industry. Participation in the CFMC is open to all polyacrylonitrile (PAN) based carbon fiber manufacturers that are members of the Composites Fabricators Association (CFA). The CFMC replaces SACMA.
