Definition:
A method using a variation of a paper making process for the preparation of chopped fiber thermoplastic and thermoset composites with completely random fiber orientation. The technique involves combining powdered resin, chopped fibers, an anionic latex binder and water in a hydropulper (high-speed mixer) followed by drying in vacuum and hot air.
