Definition:
A method for evaluating the adhesion of a coating to a substrate. Pressure-sensitive tape is applied to an area of the coating which is sometimes cross-hatched with scratched lines. Adhesion is considered to be adequate if coating is not pulled off by the tape when it is removed.
