Definition:
Recommended composite material test methods published by SACMA (now CFMC). These are not true standards, but are meant to supplement existing ASTM and other international standards. The SRM manual contains 27 methods covering chemical, physical and mechanical testing, plus specialty procedures such as moisture conditioning and carbon fiber sampling.
