Structural/Thermal Analyst

Alliant Techsystems, Conventional Munitions Div. is seeking individuals with structural/thermal analysis experience and career interests for our Allegany Ballistics Laboratory facility near Cumberland, MD.

Familiarity with SDRC-IDEAS and ABAQUS is desired. Background in and understanding of solid mechanics and materials (conventional, aerospace, composites) is a must. This opportunity provides exposure to our leading-edge computing environment using HP/Unix workstations. Potential for involvement in methods development, programming, and interaction with design, testing, and processing exists for the interested and self-motivated individual.
