Manufacturing Process Engineer

Education: BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, 3-4 years experience in Composite Applications and Manufacturing

Experience: Develop, implement, and maintain detailed work instruction that integrate the manufacture and delivery of parts and subassemblies into a finished product that meets ATK and customer quality specifications. The incumbent will have CATIA 3D wireframe, surfacing and solids experience. The incumbent will apply manufacturing systems/practices including but not limited to : Quality planning; training/certification/team building; engineering change proposals/waivers/deviations; Configuration management/traceablity; Work instructions/time standards; Product delivery; returned goods/retrofits; Government property control; Participation in assembly area design and layout; Tooling/capital equipment recommendations; Failure analysis and problem resolution; Raw materials; Scrap/rework/nonconforming material; Process design/implementation/SPC; Material flow; ESD handling; Package design/implementation; Knowledge and application of contract requirements.
