Certification / Licensing

Composites and plastics, unlike many other industries, do not have extensive certification or licensing requirements. A few training programs are offered, though, and these can be of benefit when seeking a job. Certification in related fields such as engineering (Professional Engineer) or nondestructive testing may be required for specific materials jobs.
