Definition: A saturated, thermoplastic, polyester resin made by condensing ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid, which has assumed a role of primacy in fibers and molding materials. It is extremely hard, wear-resistant, dimensionally stable, resistant to chemicals, and has good dielectric properties. Also known as POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL TEREPHTHALATE.
