Abaris Training

AD Airframe Consulting Company
Consulting company specializing in airframe structural integrity involving metallic and composite structures. Short courses include airframe design, repair, stress analysis and sizing. On-site training available.
Advanced Composites Manufacturing Centre (ACMC)

Akron Polymer Training Center (APTC)
Offers courses in polymer processing, rubbers, and elastomers. Continuing education, baccalaureate programs, and associate degrees.
Alexander SportAir
Weekend workshops for home aircraft builders. Composite Construction is most relevant workshop, but others such as Painting may also be of interest.
Aeronautical Institute of Technology (AIT)
Provides a variety of FAA and related courses. Three composites courses offered, with a focus on aircraft repair.
C & C Technologies
Provides in-plant short courses and tutorials. Index lists fifteen classes, which can be customized to meet company-specific needs.
Clemson University Professional Development
Short seminars in various fields. No specific composites seminars, but textiles, technical, quality, and engineering seminars may be of interest.
American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA)
Professional society that offers education and training materials, including a Certified Composites Technicial Program. Site offers some documents (currently available to members only) and a bookstore with educational materials.
The Composites Training Center (CTC)
Located at Cerritos College. Provides hands-on courses covering composites manufacturing and processing. Site describes classes, but schedule was last updated in 1998.
Georgia Tech Continuing Education
Offers short courses in a variety of subjects. Categories which may have composites courses include Materials, Mechanical, Textiles, and others.
GRPguru.com
Consulting firm that offers training courses in fiberglassing techniques, from the basics of working with fiberglass to moldmaking to boat construction. Description of courses, schedule, and online enrollment form.
HEATCON
Offers training in hot bonding and repair. Courses are approved by Boeing Maintenance Training and FlightSafety.
Hypercoat
Aviation company with a composites division. Offers training to customers through collaborations with various organizations and institutions. See the contact page to get more information.

Offers training courses for the Strand7 finite element program. Remote and specialist (including composites) courses offered.

Lavender Racing Developments
An Australian distributor of prepregs and related materials, Lavender also provides assistance and training in the use of these materials. Specific services include layup, bagging, tooling, and reusable bags and caul sheets.
Materials Engineering Institute
Educational branch of ASM. Provides courses in a wide range of materials engineering topics. All are also available for home study or in-plant presentation.
Process Research
Consulting firm that provides composites training. Topics include winding, general manufacturing, pressure vessels, and technology. Can be customized.
R-CON NDT
Level I and II training in the five basic NDT methods. Regularly scheduled classes, or in-plant customized courses. Offerings includes a three class series on composite NDI.
RICHEL
Offers a four day seminar on waterjet cutting. Topics include business aspects, techniques, and equipment. On-site training also available.
Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD)
Online, distance learning, and continuing education courses from Stanford. Site has course lists, degree and non-degree program information, broadcast schedules, and more.
TWI
